Tetra Signum Co., Ltd. (CEO Sanghoon Jeon) announced its participation in the “Smart Safety and Health Fair (KISS 2025 – Korea International Safety & Health Show)”, which will be held at KINTEX Exhibition Center II from July 7 to 10, 2025.
Tetra Signum is a company that has been driving innovation in the field of medical education through the convergence of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and VR (Virtual Reality) technologies. In particular, the company has focused on overcoming the limitations of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) education—closely tied to life-saving—and successfully commercialized the META CPR MASS solution, which maximizes the effectiveness of training.
META CPR MASS is a self-directed AI·VR CPR education solution that integrates real-world clinical insights and academic research with advanced technology. According to the company, it has been recognized for its effectiveness and differentiation.
At this exhibition, Tetra Signum will showcase its flagship solution, META CPR MASS, which is designed to effectively train individuals on how to perform CPR within the “golden time” of four minutes after cardiac arrest.
With its high-fidelity simulations, META CPR MASS recreates emergency situations in virtual reality and provides an immersive educational experience. Users can train for the entire CPR process—from identifying cardiac arrest and calling emergency services (119 in Korea), to asking for help, performing chest compressions, artificial respiration, and using an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)—through realistic, interactive content.
The solution is linked to a sensor-embedded manikin, which precisely measures key CPR metrics such as compression depth, speed, posture, and recoil. An AI instructor provides real-time, detailed feedback, helping users learn and correct their CPR technique autonomously.
Moreover, META CPR MASS is designed for unlimited, on-demand practice, free from time or location constraints, thus overcoming the shortcomings of conventional one-time training. After each session, the system generates a personalized evaluation report, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to enable customized follow-up training.
The effectiveness of the solution has been scientifically validated through joint clinical trials conducted with leading domestic and international medical institutions, including Seoul National University Hospital (Korea), National University Hospital (Singapore), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (USA), and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (UK). Notably, at the IEEE 2022 Healthcare Conference, a paper on META CPR MASS highlighted its outstanding results in terms of CPR training effectiveness in virtual reality, ease of use, and satisfaction with the AI instructor.
A Tetra Signum representative stated, “With META CPR MASS, we aim to enhance global accessibility and efficiency of CPR education,” adding, “Our goal is to continue innovating so that life-saving knowledge and skills can be more widely shared across public organizations, medical institutions, schools, and the general public.”
They continued, “At KISS 2025, we plan to present the future of safety education and actively pursue market expansion and partnerships. Ultimately, we aim to establish ourselves as a company that raises public safety awareness by increasing the national CPR implementation rate.”
Meanwhile, the Smart Safety and Health Fair is hosted by KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency) and organized by the Korea Safety Equipment Association and Kyungyon Exhibition Corp., with support from the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The exhibition will cover products and services in the following categories:
Industrial safety and protective equipment
Occupational health and workplace wellness
Firefighting and disaster prevention
Chemical safety
Explosion-proof equipment and safety devices
Workwear and uniforms
Smart safety public services and safety management
